Julian's fans tuck in
Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon has had to fend off his fans keen for plastic surgery

Aussie star Julian McMahon is a heartthrob thanks to quirky plastic surgery drama series Nip/Tuck, but the former ladies' man says he would now rather raise his daughter than raise hell.
"I'm losing count of the people who have wanted me to perform surgery on them, "laughs julian. "And, yes, there have been women who have invited me to see if they need a nip here or a tuck there. But I politely decline".
Julian has been "politely declinin" the cheance to get up close and personal with the opposite sex for some time now, and denies rumours he's dating several high-profile actresses.
He's been concentrating on work and raising his three.year old daughter, Madison, following failed marriages to Dannii Minogue and Madison's mum, former Baywatch beauty Brooke Burns.
With his marital track record, Julian concedes it's no wonder he's shy about relationships. What happened to me in the past certainly makes me feel cautious about marrying for a third time. I'd be an idiot not to be."
Julian says he still occasionally sees Dannii and he's in regular touch with wife number two, Brooke. "We see each other a lot, because of Madison, "he says. "So it's just as well we get on."

Diagnosis: fatherhood
If there is one thing that would encourage Julian to settle down again it's his desire to have more children.
"I'd love to be a dad again. Time with Madison is precious and I adore every second of it. We cook, paint, read books, destroy my house together.
"My private life revolves around her and I wouldn't have it any other way." Julian even takes Madison on set with him-especially he's filming Nip/Tuck in a Los Angeles studio.
"She's fascinated, altough I'm not sure she understands it. She saw Dylan Walsh, who plays my business partner Sean in Nip/Tuck, and said: "Dad, tha's your boyfriend." So I quietly said to her: "Now don't you go spreading that rumour, honey!".
The smoothly-spoken actor has thought long and hard about why his relationships with women have failed.
"Dad[former Australian Prime Minister Sir William McMahon] didn't settle down until 58 [marrying Sydney socialite Lady Sonia McMahon], so maybe there's something in the blood that's making me reject long-term commitment until I'm older", he says.
"That could be a really lame excuse on my part. I suspect the industry I'm in has a lot to do with it as well. Working 16-hour days on a studio set isn't conducive to a long-term relationship".
Julian blames his acting career for his marriage breakdown with Dannii, "She was in London, I was in LA... we just werent't seeing each other enough".

A cut above the rest
Asking the Nip/Tuck actor if he would consider plastic surgery seems pontless. Good looking, with perfectly proportioned features, it's obvious the LA-based former Charmed star doesn't reed a session under the scalpel. But might he consider it in the future? "I grew up around people who had plastic surgery. I'd like to age gracefuly but one day I might succumb".
Julian has lived on and off in Los Angeles for 20 years now, and says he has no plans to return to Australia. "Australia is where I'm from and I'm very proud to be Australian. But I'm not one to miss places-or people.
"And there's a shop where I can buy Australian-made meat ples. "I even eat them for breakfast!" So why is he so slim? "Exercise and a high metabolism," he laughs. "And I only sleep five hours a right. I have time to burn off all the fat!".
