FATHER'S DAY WITH MOTHER
As ex-wife Dannii Minogue was enjoying a carefree island holiday, Julian McMahon was left holding the baby in LA. That's his daughter with former second wife Brooke Burns, of course. By the way, rumour has is that Brooke is now hot and steamy with Bruce Willis. Julian and three-year-old Madison Elizabeth spent the day with her grandmother, Lady Sonia McMahon. They had lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel as a belated birthday celebration for Julian,who turned 35 on July 27. Then he dropped his mum off at the nearby mall where she went shopping for her granddaughter at Baby Gap. Madison and Julian headed off to spend the rest of this special father's day togheter, with Madison yelling goodbye to Granma. Later Julian and his mother had dinner at trendy LA restaurant Calabasas.
Julian who has been busy filming his new TV series Nip/Tuck, playing sexually adventurous plastic surgeon Dr Christian Troy, is thrilled that it looks like being a hit. When talking to Woman's Day about the show, Julian says when he's faced with a difficult scene he thinks back to times in his real life. "There are many momentsin your own life that are hurtful and painful. You can have a fierce argument with somebody one minute, then make love to them the next-so many juxtapositions in the way we relate to people. There are no limits and that's what I love about the exploration of this guy (Dr Troy). And you must play him so the vulnerability comes through", Julian says, "otherwise you'll lose the audience".
