Julian & me

Dannii Minogue is set to marry hunky Aussie and U.S. soap star Julian McMahon. Here she fondly recalls how it all happened, and talks about their wedding plans:"The first time I vent out on a proposer date with Julian, I took hum out to this restaurant where I'd had superb meals before.
We went there and we had oysters and he was throwing up in this restaurant. That was our first date. We ended up getting engaged, so it couldn't have been that bad.
We got engaged in March. Althoigh we have known each other for years, we only started going out in November. We worked together on Home And Away and we were mates. Then he moved to L.A. and I went to the Uk.
Last year there was an awards night in Australia and we were both there. It was strange. We both decided to go at the last minute. We just had the best night.
We're living in New York now -becouse of Julian's role in (the soap) Another world - and I commute to London for work.
In fact, Julian flew over from New York to propose. We had a meal out and then he proposed to me after getting permission fron my parents. It was so romantic. He went down on one knee to propose. I was speechless. When he pulled out the ring I was so happy.
Kylie screamed and jumped on me and just went "aarghh" when I told her. She designed the wedding dress.
Julian and I are going to get married at the end of the year, although I don't know exactly when. It really depends on Julian getting some time off. My three maids of honor will be by best friend Laurie, Kylie and Julian's sister Debbie. My mum and best friend are organising it.
I've never come close to getting engaged before. Somehow I know it's right.
We will live in New York first as Julian has a three-year contract. I might take up studyng acting. But I don't want to move to L.A. It's too violent.
It's a real test of our love, living in different places leading up to the wedding. I'm going to be a nervous wreck".
